Upcoming Tournaments

GS Survivor Men’s Tennis Tournament - a round robin tiebreaker style of play to be held on February 17th & 24th 2012 from 4:30pm-7:30pm. It is designed to allow players to test their skills by having a large amount of matches against a large amount of opponents. Prizes will be awarded to 1st-3rd place winners.

Cost of Entry

• Singles 150RMB
• Doubles 200RMB (100RMB per player)
• Singles/Doubles 250RMB

About Tournament

• Round Robin Men’s singles/doubles (Open)
• Must have tournament experience or knowledge
• A random draw will be held and posted Feb.15^th
• Two courts will be used simultaneously
• Points will be deducted from player for late start to be determined by referee
• In case of a tie winners will be determined first by number of wins then points last head to head
• Single play will be limited to 2 groups of 6, totaling 12 players
• The singles preliminary rounds will be Round Robin tiebreaker style of play, first to 11pts. Sudden death at 10 all
• Top 2 players of each group will advance to finals
• The singles finals will be Round Robin tiebreaker style of play, first to 11pts. Sudden death at 10 all
• Doubles play will be limited to 2 groups of 4, totaling 16 players
• Doubles preliminary rounds will be Round Robin tiebreaker style of play, first to 11pts. Sudden death at 10 all
• Top 2 teams of each group will advance to finals
• Double finals will be Round Robin tiebreaker style of play, first to 11pts. Sudden death at 10 all
